Reports in the English newspaper The Mirror says that Ghana and Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew is attracting the attentions from fellow Premier League sides Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

The newspaper has reported that former Lorient striker could be available for a cut-price of £6 million.

It further noted that both Newcastle and Palace have been alerted based on the cut price to scoop the talented forward, despite Ayew only joining the club last summer.

The Ghana forward joined the Aston Villa side from French side Lorient after an impressive display in the Ligue 1.

The 24-year-old bagged 12 goals in 31 league appearances for the French side while his performance for the Black Stars saw him score five goals in seven matches in 2015.

In spite of As ton Villa’s poor run in the English Premier League, Jordan Ayew has scored five goals in 12 matches for The Lions.
