Accra, May 27, GNA - The Ghana National Church Leadership Summit 2009, the first to be held in the country, opens in Accra on Saturday, May 30. The summit dubbed "Momentum 2009", would offer participants the opportunity to share their experiences, build their capacities to enhance growth of their various ministries.
Organised by the Titi-Ofei Ministries International, the summit would also offer participants the opportunity to sharpen their ministerial skills to face the challenges ahead. Reverend Glover Titi-Ofei, President of the Titi-Ofei Ministries International told the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra that about 1000 church leaders from Ghana and Nigeria would be participating in the event with the theme; "Changing the Gears of your Church for Accelerated Growth''.
He said topics to be discussed during the one-day summit included "Seven Laws of Pastoral Leadership Promotion," "Taking Your Church through Changes," and "Impartation Service". Rev. Titi-Ofei named some of the speakers as Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, General Overseer of the Christian Action Faith Ministries, Bishop N.A. Tackie Yarboi of the Victory Bible church and Bishop S.N. Mensah. He said the summit would launch 'The League of Pastors,' which aimed at fostering unity among Ghanaian church leaders adding that the summit would be an annual affair. 27 May 09
