My Oponent Is Using A Rented Name- Lawyer Addison

Lawyer Philip Addison, an NPP parliamentary aspirant of the Klotey Korle Constituency has fiercely attacked the credibility of his main rival, stating that he is using a rented family name. The legal luminary who rose to national fame as lead counsel for the petitioners during the 2012 election petition is gunning to contest the parliamentary seat in the forthcoming 2016 general elections. But the internal party elections to choose a candidate to lead the constituency is becoming murkier as the competition between a former constituency chairman, Valentino Nii Noi and lawyer Philip Addison has turn acrimonious. The political acrimony led to the suspension of the constituency elections because the certificate presented by the former chairman, Nii Noi has been called to question.
A group of young men and women today Thursday June 17, 2015 besieged the headquarters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) demanding the disqualification of Lawyer Addison. According to the youth who says they are supporters of Nii Noi, Lawyer Addison does not hail from Osu and hence cannot lead the constituency as the Member of Parliament.
Reacting to the demonstration by the youth on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm News, Lawyer Addison questioned if Nii Noi, his main contender also hails from Osu. Lawyer Philip Addison alleged that his contender is using a ‘’rented name’’.
He was confident of winning the primary any day it is held and cautioned all aspirants to desist from fomenting any form of troubles in the Klotey Korle Constituency.
