Muniru visits Ghana Chief Imam for blessings

Younger brother of Sulley Muntari, Muniru was at the residence of the National Chief Imam to seek divine blessings.

The 23-year-old who plays for Romanian club Steaua Bucuresti is in Ghana on holiday.

Sariki, as he is widely known was at the Fadama residence of the National Chief Imam Sheikh Nuhu Shaributu to secure some blessings from the spiritual father.

The former Liberty Professionals youth player joined Bucuresti in 2015 after excelling for CFR Cluj.

Muniru Sulley is hoping to experience a breakaway term in the second half of the Romanian top flight season.

The Muntari family have close ties with the national Chief Imam especially as they are practicing Muslims.

Sulley Muntari is a frequent visitor to the Fadama residence of the National Chief Imam, a trait his younger brother is also looking to emulate.
