A disappointed Abuakwa North parliamentary aspirant Bonti Benjamin has threatened to place an injunction on the NPP primaries scheduled for Tuesday, March 1st.

The Eastern Regional executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday successfully vetted five aspirants for the upcoming Abuakwa North primaries with one pulling out.

The five Aspirants cleared to contest for the slot include Kyei Brobbey, a former Headmaster of Ofori Panin Secondary School, Madam Gifty Twum-Ampofo, a Tutor at Akosombo International School, Isaac Ampadu a Businessman, Osei Twum Ampofo a Former Headmaster, Nkawkaw Secondary school and Prof. Emeritus Samuel Amoako, a University Professor, USA/Gh.

One lawyer Amoako pulled out of the vetting for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile information gathered by Kasapa fm’s Maame Broni indicates that the party did not openly open nominations hence denying some aspirants the information to pick forms.

Master Bonti Benjamin, a serial caller who on last week announced his readiness to contest has vowed to stop the party from holding the primaries due to the illegalities.

He has therefore warned the Eastern Regional Executives to follow due procedure in organizing the Abuakwa North primaries.
