Liberty and Asante Kotoko agree on Ashia deal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with liberty professionals to sign, Kennedy Ashia, according to local media reports.

The midfielder, 21-year-old, is currently with the local Black Stars squad, and rumours are that, Kotoko defender Abeiko Ainooson who is also with the local Stars has been convincing Ashia to move to the reds.

Kennedy will be a good signing for David Duncan’s side as midfield duo Jordan Opoku and Michael Akuffo are no more with the club.

The Porcupine Warriors have been busy in the transfer market securing the signatures of goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and defender Samuel Kyere to augment their squad ahead of the coming season.

The player is also on the radar of Accra Hearts of Oak.
