Kotoko grabs another top defender

Ghana league giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Medeama SC defender Evans Quao on a two-year deal.

The former Heart of Lions strong and tough guardsman penned the contract on Tuesday to secure a permanent move to the Kumasi-based club.

Quao joined Medeama last season after his stints with Indian top-flight side Mumbai FC.

The bulky defender will be facing keen competition from Edwin Tuffour Frimpong, Ahmed Adams, Amos Frimpong, Abeiku Ainooson and Henry Ohene Brenya.

The Fabulous club in their bid to strengthen their squad have already secured the services of Ernest Sowah, Michael Yeboah, Samuel Kyere, and Edwin Tuffour Frimpong.
