Hearts of Oak are likely to lose head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi to a Ghana Premier League rival at the end of the season, according to reports in the local media.

The Japanese gaffer has resolved to quit the capital club at the end of the season after failing to reconcile with the club's management over his style and falling out with the agent who introduced him to the Phobians.

Hearts' management are unhappy with the coach's continuous refusal to attend post-match technical meetings and feel his latest U-turn is a mere fluke.

Yatsuhashi officially wrote to Hearts's management, notifying them of his readiness to hold the routine technical meeting with them but in a latest revelation it is understood the coach is only heeding to the words of his backroom staff.

Francis Hackmann, the local Ghanaian agent who introduced the coach to Hearts, has confirmed a broken relationship with the coach over his recent conduct and is unlikely to lead him into any further negotiations with Hearts.

Hearts officials declared their intentions of signing an extension contract with the coach but his recent social media comments stalled the initial talks.

Accra-based Asempa FM reported on Monday the coach was spotted in the private car of a Premier League management member on Monday.
