The father of one of the four deceased students of Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) has advised parents to withdraw their children from the school if there are any more deaths.
Mr Kofi Adu Boffuor, who lost his daughter Clementina Konadu, noted that the deaths (now known to be caused by HINI) started about three years ago but nothing was done by the school authorities to prevent a reoccurrence.
He spoke to Adehye FM's Elisha Adarkwah on Tuesday, 12 December, 2017 at the funeral ceremony of his deceased daughter at Krofrom in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region.
The father of the late form two science student recalled that at one of the PTA meetings, he raised concerns about the deaths of students in the school, a situation the management promised to address but to no avail.
"...If the school authorities and government cannot find a lasting solution to these mysterious deaths, I will advise that parents withdraw their wards from the school and find them different schools," he said.
Mr Adu Boffour said his daughter wanted to become a medical doctor in future.
