Joe Dodoo lands in Glasgow for loan talks with Rangers

Would-be Ghana international Joe Dodoo is amenable to joining promoted Scottish Premiership side Rangers on loan.

The 21-year-old Leicester City striker travelled to Glasgow on Tuesday night to hold talks with the Scottish giants about a season-long spell at Ibrox.

Dodoo admits links with Mark Warburton's side, who are back in the Scottish Premiership, would be brilliant for his development at senior level.

"I know a lot [about Rangers]," Dodoo said. "I used to watch them a lot when I was younger and obviously there's the rivalry with Celtic.

"It's a great club. Any player would be excited to play for a team like Rangers."

Dodoo spent the second half of last season on loan at Bury where he made four appearances and scored one goal.

The former England youth international trained with Ghana’s squad in June but incomplete paper works denied him the chance of debuting for his country of birth.
