Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed says he is itching for the start of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season after months of stagnation.

Yahaya who is back in the country after a successful spell with Libyan side Al ittihad is set to lead the Aduana Stars set-up.

Having played for Tema Youth and Asante Kotoko in the past, Yahaya is expected to finish off moves by Daniel Darkwah and Noah Martey who have all joined Aduana this season.

The unpredictable forward says he is desperate for the season to start.

“I know very well that a lot of the players are interested in playing games, but we are told its on the 20th of this month, so we are waiting,” Yahaya said

“I have worked had this free period and I am hoping that it all comes out well for me in the coming season.”

"Just like every player in the local scene I am also excited that the league is finally about to start."
