Top scorer of the just ended First Capital Plus Premier League, Kofi Owusu, has hinted that he is going to work hard to improve his outstanding performance for his club Berekum Chelsea.

Owusu was a surprised package in the Ghana League last season as he emerged from total obscurity to win the Golden boot award in the GPL.

“It’s not easy, to be a goal king in Ghana so all I can say is I will work hard for season to score more goals- not 19 but from 20 goals.”Owusu told Adom FM

The Berekum Chelsea striker also remained coy on his future at the club. “I’m still a Chelsea player so am not moving. If the offer is good, I will go but if it’s not I won’t. Most importantly, my chairman has to agree before.”

Kofi owusu scored 19 goals to win the goal king and has been linked with many big clubs in the country including Ashgold and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
