I will not refuse a return to Kotoko - Abdul Razak

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Abdul Karim Razak has said he will not rule out a return to the Porcupine Warriors as a coach.

Abdul Karim Razak led Kotoko to dethrone bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oak for the Ghana Premier League crown in the 2003/2004 season, losing only match.

He also won the FA Cup and Sports Writers Association of Ghana Cup but he was unceremoniously relieved off his duties at the club.

However, Abdul Karim Razak bore no hard feelings for the club he served as a player on four different occasions and a coach.

In an interview with sportscrusader.com, the 1978 Africa footballer of the year said: “Coaching is my job and I am there for anyone. I have been out for some time now and I will bounce back soon. I will return to management when get a good offer.

“If any club comes with a good offer on my table I will welcome it. So for Kotoko they are still my club and if they come for me, I won’t hesitate accepting the opportunity to show the club what I am made of on the touchline. They already know my abilities.

“I am a professional coach now and I am ready to coach anywhere provided the condition of service is favourable.

“Sitting at home without doing anything is not what I grew up doing and if a club can pay me, why not, I will accept.”

Abdul Razak has had stints at Stade Malien on three different spells. He has also manage in Benin and Burkina Faso.
