With barely three days to kick start the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season, a player who needs no introduction as one of the top notch strikers in the country is Sekondi Hasaacas newly acquired striker is Eric Bekoe, who is already aiming for the golden boot.

The 29-year-old striker would be looking forward to revive his career after returning from Egyptian side Petrojet and having a two-year spell with Berekum Chelsea which didn’t go too bad for him.

The prolific striker who won the golden boot in the 2007/2008 season with Kumasi Asante Kotoko after scoring 17 goals in 23 matches will be looking forward to replicate his past exploit in this season premier league.

In an interview with sportscrusader.com, Eric Bekoe said “my aim is to be the top scorer this season ,because it is every strikers target to bang in the goals as when it matters and to finish the season on a high”.

The darling boy of most local fans also emphasized the need for team work, because his success as a striker largely depends on the assistance of his team mates who complement his effort in the team.
