Accra Hearts of Oak have swiftly come out to deny media reports claiming the Phobians are seriously seeking for the services of former Medeama and Kotoko striker, Nathaniel Asamoah, who is currently unattached following the termination of his contract by Moroccan outfit, Raja Casablanca.

Reports are rampant in the local media that the 2000 CAF Champions League winners are on the brink of getting the ex-Kotoko attacker to the capital-based club for the second round of the ongoing Ghana Premier League but the Communications Director of the Phobians, Kwame Opare Addo, has jumped the gun to dispel such report.

"Hearts has not spoken to Nathaniel Asamoah so far as I’m concerned, so we don’t know where this report is coming from, and I urge the public to attach less seriousness to that," he exclusively revealed to Ghanasportsonline.com.

Hearts will meet Bechem United on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium.
