Grant not interested in Chelsea job

Former Chelsea managers are queuing up to take over if Jose Mourinho gets the chop from Chelsea.

In fact, the only man who is yet to go public with his credentials is the best suited to take over from Mourinho.

Which is surprising, to be honest, as he boasts an incredible 66 per cent win rate.

Grant is currently Ghana boss, but it’s not going so well.

He apparently spends too much of his time in Europe.

And the longest-serving club chairman in Ghana last week hit out at Grant after the Israeli claimed domestic-based players are not good enough for the national side.

He took over at the Black Stars in November last year and most recently drew 1-1 with Canada.

But surely he should be in the dugout in West London on November 4 for the Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev instead.

He was, of course, the architect of Chelsea’s finest hour, a charge to the Champions League final where they were only denied football’s biggest prize because John Terry fell over.

And he is the only Chelsea boss in history NEVER to lose a home league game.
