Ghana coach Avram Grant has stated that the Black Stars must be at their best to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Ghana will face Egypt, Uganda and Congo for the final round qualifier to the World Cup.

Many are of the view that Ghana cannot make it considering the kind of opposition, but coach Grant who has already qualify the team for the African Cup of Nations is hopeful of leading the team despite admitting that it will be tough.

“It’s a very tough group, Egypt have an impressive generation of players, and there wouldn’t be an easy game in the group, it is our target to make out from the group, and I will do everything possible to qualify Ghana to the World Cup”.

Ghana will open its 2018 World Cup final round qualification campaign with two successive matches against Uganda at home (2nd October 2016) and Egypt away (6th October 2016).
