Gov't to implement Dzamefe C'ssion report - Pres John Mahama

The President of the republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has assured his government’s commitment to ensure the Justice Dzamefe commission report on the famous world cup in Brazil, 2014 farce that tarnished the image of Ghana is applied to its full conclusion.

Government in the year 2014 issued a white paper on the World Cup Commission of Enquiry presented to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General a months after investigations.
The government had accepted the recommendations to surcharge all names that had been associated with malpractices from the beginning to the end of the World Cup.

Almost a year onward the report is yet to be fully implemented and has seen some Ghanaians criticise and conclude the report will only gather dust and nothing else but during the President’s state of the nation address to the Parliament of Ghana on February 25, John Mahama called on the skeptics to be rest assured as government is still seeking legal advice on the right path to tow.

He said, “the government is dedicated to World Cup Commission Report despite legal hurdles ahead”.
