Ghanaian takes over as UNDP boss in Namibia

Ms Kiki Gbeho has arrived in Namibia to take over as the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Development Programme.

The Ghanaian born diplomat, who presented her Letters of Credence last week to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, takes over from Mr. Bandora the former
Tanzanian born RC.

Ms. Gbeho paid a goodwill visit to the Ghana High Commission in Windhoek on Monday, 10th August, 2015.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the United Nations’ global development network.

UNDP advocates for change and connects countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life.

It provides expert advice, training, and grant support to developing countries, with increasing emphasis on assistance to the least developed countries.
