Ghana's probable line-up against Comoros

A line-up of the Black Stars A line-up of the Black Stars

In the lead up to this afternoon’s epic clash between Ghana and Comoros at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi, predictably the line-up for the Black Stars will be stronger than what we saw last Friday in the first leg.

Following the team's training over the past three days, we can authoritatively predict that coach Avram Grant will make changes to his team with captain Asamoah Gyan leading the attack.

DR Congo-based Solomon Asante gets a rare start on the right wing in the absence of Christian Atsu.

Coach Avram Grant is expected to virtually retain his main players with Jonathan Mensah partnering John Boye at the heart of the defence Just like the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Mubarak Wakaso combines with Afriyie Acquah in the midfield.

Andre Ayew operates from the left wing and with Harrison Afful and Baba Rahman play in the right and left back respectively.

Gyan will be supported by Jordan Ayew though Warris whose telepathy with Gyan a couple of years ago brought a good number of results to the Stars, could be another good option.

Black Stars' likely starting line-up: Razak Brimah, Harrison Afful, Baba Rahman, John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Solomon Asante, Mubarak Wakaso, Asamoah Gyan (capt), Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew.
