GFA not happy with propagandists

The Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA) Ibrahim Sannie Daara has condemned the grand agenda by some detractors in the football fraternity to discredit the association.

According to him, some selected journalists have made it a point to consistently tarnish the image of the FA by putting out unsubstantiated allegations and in so doing question the football body’s reputation.

“GFA’s reputation is facing challenges because some people in the sports fraternity have made it their responsibility to dent the image of the FA.”

Sannie cautioned such journalists who are on radio to use their medium, which is very powerful to promote and develop the sports, and not use their platforms to go at people and institutions for no wrong done.

He noted that the GFA has encountered pockets of problems and it’s feverishly dealing with them, adding that though it welcomes criticisms, they must be made constructively.
