GFA Presidential aspirant happy over court injunction

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ghana Football Association (GFA)

In the wake of an injunction placed on the Presidential Elections of the Ghana Football Association, presidential hopeful, Mr. George Ankomah Mensah has expressed joy over the injunction, insisting that it will provide him ample time to prepare for the battle.

According to George Ankomah Mensah, whose football constituency is yet to be known, the time for picking and filling nomination forms was too short and that should the injunction succeed, it will afford him a great opportunity of letting Ghanaians know what he can do for Ghana football.

In an interview with Sportscrusader.com, Mr. Ankomah said, “I saw it in the press that someone has gone to court to seek for an injunction over the FA Presidential elections. I don’t know why he did that because he might have his personal reasons but for me, I am happy. I am happy because it will provide me with enough time to sell my vision to Ghanaians”.

“The time opened for picking nomination forms, filling and submitting them was originally too short. So with this, I am sure it will help me. I am not contesting Nyantakyi but I am contesting for presidential election and I think there should be an equal playing ground for us all. So with the injunction, I am happy”, he added.
