Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elton Acolatse marked his Belgian Pro League debut for Westerlo with a fabulous finish in their 2-2 draw with Standard Liege on Sunday afternoon.

The 21-year-old, who joined Westerlo from Amsterdam giants Ajax, arrived inside the box to beautifully connect home a Jarno Molenberghs articulate cross from the left.

Acolatse decided to quit Ajax after failing to get first team experience at Ajax and arrived at Westerlo with high hopes.

Last season, the young striker scored just once in 26 appearances for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second-tier league.

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau was also in action for Westerlo in the game. But striker Benjamin Tetteh was not selected by Standard Liege for the game.
