Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, David Duncan has congratulated West Africa Football Academy for bearing Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier league opener.

The Academy boys defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Saturday afternoon at the Sogakope stadium and the man at the losing side congratulates them for securing all maximum points.

He was disappointed his side didn’t advantage of the chances that came their way.

“I thought they took they took their chances and that was the difference between them and the goals they scored,” David Duncan told SuperSport after the final whistle of the hear-pumping encounter at the Sogakope Stadium.

The former Hearts of Oak tactician reckon the result would been different had his side made use of the chances they created, but in football, ‘if and but’ are alien.

“We could have also taken our chances that came our way… half, quarter and even full chances. Had we taken them, the result would have been different.

“But in football, you don’t use ‘if and but’… congratulations to WAFA.” He said.
