Cheki Ghana holds first Auto fair

Cheki Ghana, an online market platform that deals in cars is holding its first ever Auto Fair at the Accra Polo Club to interact, create awareness and expose new auto models available.

The event, which spans July 20- July 26 would offer stakeholders in the Auto industry the opportunity to converge at one place to network and advertise their vehicles to the public.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Country Director of the Company Eric Amoako- Twum pointed out that was part of his outfit’s plans to strengthen its relationship with car dealers.

He said: “This is an opportunity for the various stakeholders in the auto industry to converge in one place and have the opportunity to interact with other car dealers.

“This enables individuals to avail themselves of brand new vehicles, fairly used, parts, and accessories and also since it’s an online platform, we create the avenue for people to see those behind the business.

“Once, this is done, it generates some level of comfort for people who are quite skeptical about online platforms that we have.”

Mr Amoako- Twum admonished the public about fraudsters who are prevalent in the society and to be cautious in their dealings and possibly check any vehicle with a trusted mechanic and in a comfortable environment to be confident when transacting business.

The Marketing and Sales Consultant of Fairllop International Limited Ms Esi Sika Mamford who participated in the event added that: “We participated so people will know our brands which includes Morris Garages (MG) 3, 5, 6, 750 G6.”

“We seek to enlighten the public to know about our brand and also our existence in the country. This will bring a lot of awareness with people trooping in to look at the cars, the parts and its functions and to know the quality of our products are,” he said.

The Chief Executive Officer of GAT Motors Mr Theophilus Oware also noted that, his motive of involving in the Auto Fair is to up sales for his outfit and called on Ghanaians and potential buyers to throng to the Accra Polo Club, Airport.

Cheki Ghana has more than 13,000 vehicles on site, 500 car dealers, 70,000 people visiting the site every month with 1.2 million per view monthly.
