Central Development Youth Abroad donates to schools in Central Region

As part of efforts to help in the education sector and also encourage the young ones to take education serious, a group named Central Development Youth Abroad has donated exercise books, pens and pencils worth GHC4,000 to some selected schools in the region.

The group embarked on the project as part of their community service. Last Friday three schools Amanful School, Ntranoa Primary and JHS and Elmina DC Primary school had their donation done.

The students were treated to some great talks and fun time by the representatives of CDYA. The next three schools yet to enjoy the kind gesture of CDYA are Afrangua School, Enya Maim Methodist and Dominase AME Zion Basic School.

The group is just 7 months old and have been very supportive to activities in the region. Last year they supported Heritage Promotions with an amount of 5000 for their music awards, this year saw the group supporting Little Isaac who had her mother maltreat her with 5000 and also the Cape Coast Metropolitan with dustbins worth 2000.

The groups aim is to basically be of help to the region they hail from and hope to do more and more for the betterment of the region in their own small way.
