The Convention People’s Party (CPP) will form an all inclusive government should it win the December 7, general election.

Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim, the CPP First National Vice Chairman, said Ghana is blessed with great human resources across the political divide and the Party would not spare any effort in taping them for Ghana’s socio-economic development.

She said the concept of ‘Winner-Takes-All’ (WTA) politics in Ghana was a very dicey issue which needs to be re-examined.

Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday in Accra on the sideline of a Roundtable on WTA politics.

The roundtable which was organised by the Institute of Economic Affairs was on the theme “The Case of Public Funding of Political Parties”.

It addressed by Dr Ransford Gyampo, Senior Lecturer, Department of Political Science, University of Ghana.

The CPP First Vice Chairman said the Party was the first to introduce all inclusive government in country under the leadership of President Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

She said WTA turn to favour the wining party in an election, while the loosing parties were left out of the decision making.

“We will look for competent people, no matter their political background to serve the nation. The most important thing is that you are a Ghanaian,” she stated.
