Baba Yara ready for Stars - Comoros duel

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium is under serious preparations towards the second leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Les Coelecantes of Comoros on Tuesday.

The Black Stars drew the first leg of the double-header qualifier away at Moroni in Comoros and will have to beat the visitors to secure qualification to the group stage of the competition.

The stadium which happens to be the home grounds of 2014 Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has not been used for any competitive game since the Local Black Stars beat their Ivorian counterparts by 2-1 last month.

Field managers of the facility, Green Grass Technology are seriously intensifying the preparations which started long before the team even left Ghana for the first leg in Comoros.

Information gathered from the stadium also have it that plumbing works are close to finishing to ensure free flow of water while cleaning of the facility is almost done.
