The Queen Mother of Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Afia Denwira, is expected to lead her people to demonstrate for the reinstatement of their dismissed District Chief Executive (DCE), Sampson Owusu Boateng.

Nana Afia Denwira, Kasapafmonline.com learnt, has summoned all her subjects to brief her about the development in the community following the dismissal of the DCE which many believe was orchestrated by the Member of Parliament for the area, Sanja Nanja.

The briefing, this website is told, would enable the Queen Mother to make informed decision over the exercise she is expected to spearhead.

The dismissal of the DCE has led to chaos in the farming community with grassroot supporters of the DCE and the MP going after each others throat last Tuesday.

The unrest has led to the burning of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party office in Atebubu-Amantin.

The Regional Police Command has since declared the dismissed DCE wanted.

“If he was around, we would have arrested him too but he has taken to his heels and we don’t know where he is but we are looking for him… We will prosecute him if we get him because he condoned and connived. He instigated”, ASP Tawiah from the Regional Police Command was quoted as saying by Accra based Citi FM.
