Andre Ayew is vital cog in the Swansea machine, Guidolin insists

Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin has reiterated the importance of Andre Ayew to his team.

The 26-year-old has been the most outstanding player for the Swans since joining in the summer last year.

The Ghana international was heavily linked with a move away from the Liberty stadium with Sunderland making several unsuccessful attempts to sign him.

And Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin has emphasised the significance of the Ghana superstar.

"I think Ayew is important for us, he's a good player and he's important for our team," he said
