2016 Budget Statement in full

Hon. Seth E. Terkper, Minister of Finance on the Authority of H. E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, today, delivered The Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the 2016 Financial.

The Theme: “Consolidating Progress towards a Brighter Medium Term”.

Amongst other things mentioned in the budget are moves by Government to add 845MW to the national grid by the end of 2015, to supplant power supply and Ghana’s public debt stock which is now “increasing at a slower pace.”
