After school, what’s next? That question has been asked dozens of times by different people at different seminars.

The truth, however, is obvious, work.

But what kind of work? What is needed in today’s young ones to make it into and in the world of work?

This is why Idea Factor, a (student-based think tank and youth outreach project) is holding the National Youth Capacity Building Workshop under the theme “Disruptive skills for a Disruptive Future; Building the Future Workforce”

Taking into consideration the dynamism and possible disruptions in the world of work, it is best the youth are equipped with the necessary skills for national development.

The possible disruptions in the future of work, considering a number of factors, with Technology as the numero uno, leaves us with a crucial and critical task to imbue in our youth disruptive skills for a groundbreaking future!

Experts such as Dr Samuel Kwadwo Frimpong, Technical Economic Advisor to the Vice President and Executive Director of the Aliu Mahama Foundation, Sylvia Sefakor Senu, Economics Analyst with UNDP will be available to answer some major questions pertaining to the field of work amongst other important issues in relation with youth capacity building.

*Experts will be engaged on;

* How to address the challenges and opportunities in the future of work.

* Share knowledge on the future of work and what Ghana is doing about it.

* Discuss some of the innovations that will work in transitioning to the future of work.

* Educate young people on the skills they will need for the future of work.

* Building youth voices around the future of work.

The program comes off on the 13th of March, 2020 at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Ghana, Legon, 8 o’clock am.
