  It is so gratifying that one state organization is taking the initiative to screen the people of Osu. Obviously, this gesture is at the bidding and call of the Paramount Chief. Osu will certainly be just a small sample to gauge the general state of health of Ghanaians. The AIDS Commission should cover the whole country seeing that without the necessary public awareness campaign that must be part of such an exercise,
  people, once declared free of infection, might be tempted to fall into the scourge of the homosexuality that the United States Supreme Court has endorsed. Let us be careful and not copy blindly. It was at a convention of gays and lesbians in Los Angeles in the late 70s that AIDS was discovered.
