People are lobbying for political positions and that the party will go in opposition after 4 years? He should know that he's not God to predict Ghanas future. He's got nothing to do at the moment so these are what makes him feel important. There are other sensible ways to tackle this.

The PPP must prep itself to lead Ghana in the next election cycle or two and in so doing, it must be careful and analyze critically which party it intends to go into merger talks to contest elections.
At some point, there must be a third force leading this country for a change after the NDC-NPP duopoly and the PPP is in a very unique position to fill that void.
It should get it's act right because leading Ghana is on the cards for the PPP.
