I won't be affected if NPP goes into opposition - A Plus

Kwame A Plus Kwame A Plus

Controversial Hiplife artiste Kwame Asare Obeng known in showbiz as A-Plus has stated that categorically that he will not in any way be affected if the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) goes back to opposition.

The musician who was an advocate for the NPP prior to the 2016 elections, revealed that he did so to ensure that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo became president following the vilification he went through in the hands of persons in National Democratic Congress (NDC) he described ad “babies with sharp teeth”.

Former President Jerry John Rawlings it would be recalled first used the phrase [babies with sharp teeth] at the party’s special delegates’ congress in Kumasi in 2012.

He referred to the sharp teeth babies who had used such teeth to bite some members of the party who worked indefatigably to win power for the political grouping.

“Mr. President, fellow Ghanaians it is said that we should not throw out the baby with the bath water, but what do we do when some of the babies in the tub are babies with teeth, biting and spewing invectives?” he asked.

Mr. Rawlings questioned whether such babies “should not be lowered out with the dirty water so that we can concentrate on the many good babies? After all, one bad nut is all it takes to spoil the taste in your mouth.”

But the musician said “What will I lose if NPP is not in power? I keep saying this. And I want those stupid NPP people who think they will be in power forever to know, especially those who think just because I campaigned for Nana every NPP person automatically becomes my friend listen. I’ve not asked any NPP person for 1 Ghana”
