Notwithstanding all that you listed, corruption is the biggest scare for visitors to Ghana. Don't expect visitor to flock to Ghana, so long as the current spate of corruption continues.

You can see corruption at the airport the moment you arrive in Ghana and meet the first customs officer. And they won't spare you when you leave. A policeman can stop you on the highway and ask you to do something. We still h ... read full comment

A policeman can stop you on the highway and ask you to do something. We still have open gutters Ghanaians use as toilets and rubbish dump. Osu and Labadi still shits on the otherwise clean, beautiful beaches. Armed robber still outgun our police. And by the way, who wants to come to Ghana and see a murderer, Jerry Rawlings.
