Does some of our laws that were promulgated in the early part of twentieth century colonial era have any relevance in this twenty-first century, digital era?

Again, often do we update/renew our laws, institutions, and organizations?; where is our culture of maintenance of the above?

This mean that, similar irregularities as claimed by the petitioners did occurred at the stronghold of the NPP as well. A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Victor Kojogah Adawudu claims their case becomes stronger each day their lead counsel cross–examines the star witness of the petitioners, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in court.

He said Tsatsu Tsikata has torn into shreds the pink sheets presented in court as hard core evidence by the petitioners to prove their claims of massive irregularities in the 2012 presidential elections.

The ongoing Presidential Election Petition hearing at the Supreme Court entered day 13 on Wednesday.

Mr. Tsikata throughout his six days of cross-examination has sought to discredit the witness as well as the evidence tendered in court.

He argued that most of the pink sheets tendered in court as evidence have been duplicated to deceive the court and that the allegations of over voting and no signature are just administrative errors.

Mr. Tsikata also brought a pink sheet outside what has been tendered in court to prove that there were similar 'irregularities' in the strongholds of the first petitioner.

But Dr. Bawumia categorically disagreed with Tsatsu noting that the evidence before the court is cogent to ensure justice is served.

On Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Victor Adawudu said they have been able to achieve their aim by punching holes into the so-called concrete evidence of the petitioners.

He said for Dr. Bawumia to repeatedly admit before the court that there were multiple errors in the pink sheets tendered in evidence strengthen their case.

Victor Adawudu found it very intriguing why the petitioners only picked polling stations where President Mahama won when in fact similar alleged irregularities occurred in their strongholds.

He was of the opinion that the entire 2012 general election results were marred with errors as a result of the ‘ignorance’ of some staff of the Electoral Commission.

Lawyer Adawudu said the NDC will prove to the Justices that massive irregularities occurred at polling stations won by Akufo-Addo but for political expediency they [petitioners] hid it from Ghanaians.

Vents were checked for dead rodents, carpets were steamed cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. The ex-wife called the man, and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely, and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back ... knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed to the price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth ... but only if she were to sign the papers that very day. She agreed, and within the hour, his lawyer delivered the paperwork.

A week later, the man and his new girlfriend stood smirking as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home ...

...including the curtain rods.

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Victor Kojogah Adawudu claims their case becomes stronger each day their lead counsel cross–examines the star witness of the petitioners, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in court.

He said Tsatsu Tsikata has torn into shreds the pink sheets presented in court as hard core evidence by the petitioners to prove their claims of massive irregularities in the 2012 presidential elections.

The ongoing Presidential Election Petition hearing at the Supreme Court entered day 13 on Wednesday.

Mr. Tsikata throughout his six days of cross-examination has sought to discredit the witness as well as the evidence tendered in court.

He argued that most of the pink sheets tendered in court as evidence have been duplicated to deceive the court and that the allegations of over voting and no signature are just administrative errors.

Mr. Tsikata also brought a pink sheet outside what has been tendered in court to prove that there were similar 'irregularities' in the strongholds of the first petitioner.

But Dr. Bawumia categorically disagreed with Tsatsu noting that the evidence before the court is cogent to ensure justice is served.

On Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Victor Adawudu said they have been able to achieve their aim by punching holes into the so-called concrete evidence of the petitioners.

He said for Dr. Bawumia to repeatedly admit before the court that there were multiple errors in the pink sheets tendered in evidence strengthen their case.

Victor Adawudu found it very intriguing why the petitioners only picked polling stations where President Mahama won when in fact similar alleged irregularities occurred in their strongholds.

He was of the opinion that the entire 2012 general election results were marred with errors as a result of the ‘ignorance’ of some staff of the Electoral Commission.

Lawyer Adawudu said the NDC will prove to the Justices that massive irregularities occurred at polling stations won by Akufo-Addo but for political expediency they [petitioners] hid it from Ghanaians.

I have broken the quote in the article into two so that you can read which portion of the "ALLEGED' was used for. If you think alleged does not mean irregularities occurred, then it means in this quote that the so called irregularities in Ashanti and Eastern region is not proven. Now read the second part of the quotation in the article where he said he believed by using the words; "HE WAS OF THE OPINION THAT"

Do you understand your stupidity now? Knowing the kind of person you are, you are not going to admit to your idiocy but the point of the quote in the article is self explanatory unless you are an illiterate and let me sum it up for you what Adawuda said below.

When Kojogah used the aalleged irregularities also occured in the Ashanti and Eastern regions, he meant that there has not been any proof but the second portion of that statement is clear. He said he believes massive irregularities, NOT ALLEGED on this portion but massive irregularities occured because of the IGNORANCE of the Electoral staff. It is plain as day and night unless you have vacated your sense of reasoning, this is not brain surgery.

You lack analytical skills because you cannot reason well. Alleged means it is not proven and he used that word for the allleged irregularities that occured in the NPP strongholds but he did not use the alleged when he said he is of the opinion that, massive irregularities occurred during the elections due to the ignorance of the Electoral staff. PUT YOUR THINKING CAP ON IF YOU HAVE ONE.

There is also another concept which complicate the law that is to prove beyond all reasonable doubt. So my friend, in law there are many ways in killing a cat, excuse my language. The crux of the matter is that when a claim is made in court, it must be seen to be credible and when the otherwise is established, the claim falls flat before the law. Now, what Tsatsu tried to do, or rather firmly established, was to grant the claim of alleged over voting at the December, 2912 presidential election without admitting and went on to demonstrate that even if the honourable judges wish to duel on the claim of over voting to pass their verdict, they must act in abundance of caution as the figure presented by the petitioners is the not the true reflection of the situation of the entire December, 2012 election by presenting an extra pink sheet with similar alleged irregularities to buttress his point. What that simply means is that the request for the petitioner for annulment of votes base on the concept of over voting is inconclusive and tempered with doubts hence fall short of the principle of proving beyond all reasonable doubt. The law is really an ass. Bye

Beyond reasonable doubt concept mostly pertains to criminal law and what the Supreme Court is sitting on is not criminal matter but administrative case with numbers to deal with. Really the number of pink sheets presented is not all that important in how many votes ought to be rejected because we are not going to count pink sheet per se to judge the case but the number of votes on each pink sheet.

With that said, the reason Tsatsu want the pink sheets counted is to indict Dr Bawumiah for lying to the court to inflate the numbers.

This case really is not about proving beyond reasonable doubt because the judges have the pink sheets and other evidence to guide them instead of basing all their judgement on the truthfulness of the witnesses.
