Two students of Adjena Senior High School Technical (ASTECH) caught the attention of President John Dramani Mahama during his visit to the school in the Asuogyaman District as part of his Eastern Regional tour.

The visit took on a lively atmosphere as students displayed placards expressing appreciation to the President.

Mahama, who was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and other government officials, was seen in a viral video seated while students held up placards with inscriptions praising him.

Some of the placards were written in different languages, including French, all conveying messages of admiration and support.

Two students, however, stood out and caught the President’s attention, prompting him to invite them forward to read their messages.

One of the placards, written in French, translated as, “The food is plenty and tasty.” The message drew laughter as the President read it aloud.

Other placards carried messages such as, “We now travel to and fro without fear, Akwan Wura,” and “ASTECH dɛmɔse,” among others.
