The 27th anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s ascension to the Golden Stool was marked with grandeur and cultural splendor at the anniversary, as Amanhene (Paramount Chiefs) and Abrempong (Divisional Chiefs) joined the Asantehene in procession to the durbar grounds.

One of the most striking elements of the celebration was the ornate headgear worn by the chiefs, symbolizing authority, heritage and rank within the Asante Kingdom.

The headpieces, including the revered Asromodwe Abotire (Headgear of the Asantehene), form part of the traditional Akan regalia.
