The NDC on the other hand will continue to stand by the volta region and this is the more reason why it built the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) which has also started the training of doctors in order to improve upon the doctor-patient ratio. NDC is still our best option

However, the NDC within the space of 1 year has removed over 35,000 ghost names on the NSS pay roll thus saving the country over 140,000 cedis which will be reinvested to augment the existing 1260 CHPS compounds which the NDC built to address our health needs. In effect, this a feat the NPP could not attain in 8 years.
