Does Amoako-Baah in his wildest dreams think that anybody in our current parliament today was elected there on account of the possibility that they were wise or competent or that in one way or the other, they would be able to bring meaningful development to the communities in which they stood? Of course not. At least that has not happened in the last 50 years or so. I dare anyone who thinks otherwise to prove to me whether any Parliamentarian has, since 1992, honored even 5% of the expectations for which Ghanaians have elected them into parliament.
Both the electorate and those who they elect havent got a clue as to what they are doing when it comes to the kind of politics which we, as a country, have adopted to our chagrin.
As the matter stands, totally ignorant people - both the educated and uneducated, vote for another bunch of totally ignorant people to represent them in a make-believe parliament which thus far, has only proved or seen it fit to adorn themselves with all kinds of largesse and privilege from the public purse. This has naturally projected them up into the ranks of the pseudo-upper class of Ghana. As for the electorate, for their foolishness and stupidity, they are condemned to get poorer and poorer because they have refused to open their eyes and to use the brains that the good Lord gave them, to think.

I would like to give him just one example. And that is with the honorable US Senator from the State of Minnesota, Al Franken. He was a well-known Comedian but an intelligent one at that. His output in the Senate so far has been one of excellence, helping him to retain his seat for the second time.
So, the let Amoako Baah not use the work that Dzokoto did alone to define his general eligibility to be a MP in Ghana. We have seen how many better educated and better employed individuals like Amoako Baah, himself, produce garbage in terms of view on vital issues affecting the Country. Mr. Dzokoto could easily perform better in Parliament than such irresponsible Professors who have been about nothing but self-promotion in demagoguery.
Most likely, this former Head of the Political Department of KNUST could never manage to win a seat in his Constituency. And if he is denouncing the use of one's general popularity, however it was accrued, to win Elections, then, the first person he ought to be worried about for his possible flop in Office must be Akufo-Addo. However, Nana was touted as even eligible for sole candidacy for the NPP Flagbearership not necessarily because he performed remarkably well in any Public Office but because he was the most popular among the potential candidates.
Amoako Baah must shelve his hypocrisy and condescending treatment of others.
