This is the solution to the problem. What is preventing our authorities to establish a database and introduce SSN card upon which every Ghanaias identity would be establishe? What is it?

  • Alex 8 years ago

If it had not been his political party I think Dr. Nduom would have been the best person to be the president of Ghana, he is one of the few who has declared his assets , he is very transparent , open minded and a modern man. ...

What Ndoum is suggesting has been said over and over again. It is a long-term solution. We are talking of getting the current bloated electoral register replaced for the 2016 general election.

  • Kontonkyi 8 years ago

How is Ghana going to replace it and get it right so everyone will trust the register? What proof of ID will be used to get the New Register? The same problems will show its ugly face after millions of Dollars squandered ...

God bless you papa Nduom we all love Ghana as a peaceful nation in Africa, but with this Corruption judiciary system,am afraid but let's all hope for the best..

  • Nana 8 years ago

Absolutely, you're right. If EC hesitates to agree following calls and pressure from other political parties, individuals and others institutions and change the voter register now without NIA, then we should expect the worse.

  • Kontonkyi 8 years ago

Nana, the worse will come because some have determined to do just that. Who will gain after the worse? This superficial solution stuff has never worked for Ghana. Real solution must be sought and implemented else such d ...

Nduom is correct. That's the only permanent solution to the problem.every country has a national ID card for all round purposes. We should learn to solve problems once and for all.

Why is it so difficult to get this?

  • Uncle Patrick 8 years ago

Very correct. The only and all encompassing solution which is not election specific. Our resources should be spent wisely not only on getting someone elected as president but on a solution which will help us in other areas.
