He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.
“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”
“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

What can they boast of themselves and what have they achieved for Ghana? They want Ghanaians to be sub-servants to them whilst in their own thinking and mental deliberations; they remain perpetually slaves to neo colonialism. From his birth he was thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis. If you are a discern citizen, I will entreat you sit up and think, get knowledge and don’t sell your conscience to these reckless generation who don’t care about you than to seek their self interest

6. Bui Hydroelectric – 400 megawatts
7. Aboadze Thermal Plant (T3), Takoradi (NPP
secured funding)- 136 megawatts

10. Akosombo Retrofit increase Akosombo’s capacity

the discovery of oil in commercial quantities, which
made possible the availability and production of Gas.
All these were bequeathed to the NDC in 2009. The NDC
assumed office when there was no load shedding in
January 2009.
Three (3) and half years into the tenure of the NDC, the
nation was plunged into load shedding. This load
shedding has persisted up to today with varying
intensity.
It has taken the NDC five (5) years and we still have not
seen the completion of the gas project, despite several
proposed completion dates from the Minister and his
associates.
Instead of apologising for the hardship they have
brought unto Ghanaians and businesses, the Minister of
Energy is rather shifting blame and engaging in
bragging.
It is a reflection of the Minister’s ability that the
electricity generation has been taken away from his
portfolio. We urge him to work harder in his remaining
portfolio and do less propaganda.

nana should stop wasting his time by thinking that Ghanaians will vote for him to become a president. it is only in his elephant family that some love will be shown to him but the floating voters don't like an old man who is so violent and arrogant. his attitude does not show that he is a presidential material. even our gallant soldiers will not repeat some of his un-Ghanaian utterances he made in 2008 and 2012. those utterances have dented his image forever. its only warlords who will make such utterances. Ghanaians have not and will not forget all that he said in the past with the view to convincing Ghanaians to make him a president of Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana. another big problem with him is the fact that he does not seem to have control over his so called militants who could attack anybody and get away with it. cant he call them to order? this means that should he become a president of Ghana, the Ghana armed forces could attack innocent Ghanaians militarily and get away with it. Ghana will then become a failed state. God forbid!
