The President who was brought up in Nkrumahism told Ghanaians in Norway that things had changed massively from a state-dominated economy to one that was private-sector led, and that the government was concentrating on important things for the private sector to become the engine of growth of the economy.
Upon reading this I shouted and said: "you can't keep a good man down", because his ideas will always prevail not matter how long it takes! Those visionaries who suggested such ideas 60 years ago were called names, persecuted and ended up in jail dead or alive. And the lucky ones barely escaped with their lives to continue the fight for these very ideas in exile. As you can see, don't we deserve a sincere apology from the communist Nkrumahist tradition? May Allah forgive them their sins for they did not know what they were doing.
