The re-denomination cannot be forgotten as a substantial way of destroying of the masses economy and their livelihoods when the 4 zeros were taken off the money in circulation!! I challenge the NPP, Kuffour's and Nana Addo's re-denomination process to come out with critical brain storming that the over valuation of our currency did not have any back-log of economic encumbrances!! You see!! We need economic realities of the pros and cons of the redenomination that you did and not write cheap political reasons of making the currency easily carried from one point to another!! Ghana cannot be treated as guinea-pigs!!! Nana as an expired political animal is just going to waste the time of the youthful NPP guys!!
What clout or new things will his patapa and lack of decorous dealings with agencies and exhibition of warfare and intimidation will all lose with him for the third time and that's it!!! How on earth can he dream that he will and can beat an encumbency????? NPP must take someone who really loves Ghana and can be understood to rule mother Ghana peacefully!! Else, Nana must come out clean and there must be a forensic investigation on how he sold the Ghana Driller ship!! We as Ghanaians need to know and the monies of over $3.5m were not accounted for!!! Power for its sake is just sheer madness!!! Ghanaians are very intelligent and discerning people. When Prof Attah Mills went in for the 3rd time, he was a man of peace, an academic giant called a Prof and who could still solve Ghanaian problems without hiding anything, and finally he fought a government of the NPP when the encumbent was getting out of power at a younger age!! The reverse is what we are seeing in Nana!! His age of over 72 years which is far ahead of Prof Mills who died even younger and the deterioration of his alleged, Nana's health is a risk that cannot be borne blindly!!! Even in the US, candidates when they fail to win the bid the first time, don't show their old faces again!! Why allow this ugly political sore to be perpetuated in Ghana??? Old wines cannot be changed into the modern classic and complex governance which needs more acute and sharper brains than people who had a 3rd class economics and whose credibility cannot be allowed when over 70 years!! Ghana, Osagyefo's Ghana cannot allow Lilliputian of such a magnitude to rule beautiful Ghana!! No way!! That is the height of impunity that the Justices of the Supreme Court were talking about. The revelations during the petition hearing, if the EC was minded to do what was right to ensure a clean, transparent and credible elections vis-à-vis a clean and credible voters register, then an independent, forensic audit of the voters register would have been a natural and logical progression and step to be taken after the recommendations of the Supreme Court to ensure that, the processes and procedures guiding our elections were transparent and credible to safeguard our democratic dispensation.
It is important that in the lead up to the 2016 elections and subsequent elections active, concrete steps are proactively taken on the part of the EC in concert with the IPAC and various stakeholders to ensure that, we review, improve and promote efficiency, equity, fairness, credibility, transparency and confidence in the voter's register and the procedures and processes guiding our democratic culture undergirded by intergrity and principles to sustain and further entrench our democratic credentials in our body polity.
