Politics in Ghana is different because since Bawumias family are all NDC his loyalty to the NPP party is questionable. I was a witness to the last elections where all his family members campaigned against him and this affected the votes of NPP in the North and Upperwest Regions. Politics in Ghana is not about academic achievements. Its about where your loyalty as well as your family loyalty belongs. Remember there are ministers who are not really educated but are running their various ministrys successfully

If Nana wins the Presidential elections, Bawumia will be more useful to the party if he also wins the MP. On the other hand, if the pair of Nana and Allan can be possible, Bawumia can be a leading role in the government if if he is not an mp. The idea is the best for NPP and for that matter the wellbeing of Ghana, for my mother and my other siblings are 'suffering' in Ghana. Ghana needs smooth transition from unknown to known... As at now NPP is the only alternate to NDC. NPP should call the other parties....CPP, PPP...with sole aim of..yegye yen man.
Experience is the best teacher. Prez Kuffour has the experience and wanted to finish what he could not finish like the 'Kuffour Highway'....Accra-Kumasi Highway through Alan. Nana should agree to this proposition if it true for the sake of Ghana. Go, go,go to the electorate early to explain to them and stop sitting in ACCRA on leadership. With this, do not waste money on any Congress and move to the rural areas. You now have a northner as the party chairman, an Asanteni as running mate and Nana as Southner as flagbearer. You co-opt other members for ministerial position like Kuffour did with Dr. Ndoum. NDC is like German 'machine' in the World Cup. NPP needs a well coordinated strategy to oust NDC. They have money to 'buy' the election. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah said that organization decides everything. The problem of Ghana is ignorance on the part of the electorate and insincerity on the part of politicians. Do what Dr. Busia started.....Centre of Civic Education...the need to go to polls in numbers to avert any run off. Decisive victory in 2016. NPP should ask demonstrator to stop now. They have already sent the message. It is time for the govt to act. NPP should get ready of their shadow ministers to monitor all ministries and have their economic blueprint ready. NPP should have a shadow committee to study the constitution and recommend some amendments with special reference to the Presidency....Go the American way whereby the President chooses only experts to oversee [departments] ministries. Nana Addo is a Christian and Dr. Bawumia is a Muslim and that ticket will be awesome for Ghana. It will show that in Ghana Christian and Muslims get along for we are all children of God and Ghana belongs to all Ghanaians regardless what part of Ghana one hails from.
Dr. Bawumia's life exemplifies one who has the fear of God and will be a great leader for Ghana. As for Nana Akufo-Addo he is leader by example for he has shown that as a Christian he can win Muslims by inviting the Chiefs of Muslims in Accra to break their Ramadan fast in his residence. It means that Nana has gained their trust and respect.
In my summation the only viable NPP ticket going forward for the NPP will be Nana/Bawumia and that will be a winning ticket.

This is not an inheritance and I would not feel good thinking a position was cooked for me because I need it so much. No Bawumia, no win, how about that. I am a staunch Alan lady or old lady, but we may loose the elections if we start sidelining others for the sake of a chosen few.
Interestingly, it is said Nana could win the party's nomination but lose the national elections with a logical conclusion that Alan could win the national elections and loose the nomination. So why don't they think it's good for them all to rally behind Akufo-Addo/Bawumia ; both are already known and well marketed candidates.Mind you; Bawumia(mr pinksheet) is very popular so far as the electorate are concerned,because of the then electoral petition.Therefore,the internal factions in the party should come together in support of Akufo/Bm to rather turn their attention to the EC to streamline the Loopholes in the electoral processes and laws which is designed knowingly/ unknowingly to give advantage to the incumbent. A very good example that comes to mind is the 2012 general elections. Eg.
After general Elections,if Party A is declared the winner but,Party B dispute the result,is our laws on it,a law for laws sake and designed to help the incumbent as was the case of the 2012 elections ! Because nothing stops the EC from continuity . I think a good law would first Stop/suspend the Electoral commissioner from declaration until the concerns raised is fully investigated before a winner could be declared.This is a simple "natural law"Common Sense approach
The EC should not just told you to go to Court with no law to stop him from declaring a winner for the Chief Justice to go ahead to Gazette him and inauguration done at the due date,for him to name his Cabinet etc etc. Do you know that the above mentioned development make nonsense of the electoral petition which was in Court ?.That is a big loopholes in our electoral laws in the Constitution(legal technicalities to throw dust in the eye of the people). One do not need to be master in the Subject to know that.
Therefore,Atubuga and the other Justices of the Supreme Court could not have served their Country any better than what they did to averted a possible confusion in the Country.
They deserve the commendation and honor of all Ghanaian,whether you like it or not.
Again,FM Radio Stations were instrumental in the general elections in 2000 to wrestle power from the power drunk Rawlings, rigged mindset NDC political party headed then by Rawlings,for announcing the result as declared on the spot from the various localities across the Country. Are the flagbearers,their running mates,party big wigs and regional chairmen of these parties not aware of it.
So when the EC invited all of the political parties to a meeting among others topics for FM Radio Stations not to disclose elections result,What did they think ! Why was not a single soul at the meeting able detect the plot
that the elections could be rigged in the absence of the FM Stations running the news on results. That being the case,no one can denied the fact that Afari-Gyan may be aware that the incumbent political party which appointed him as the EC boss several years ago was aware that the elections would be rigged. So stop the internal struggle for power to concentrate to bring the Loopholes in our electoral processes and laws to the attention of the authorities to streamline them. That is the way forward. Anyway.
