Does the NPP have a a leadership succession plan?. To allow one who has lost twice to be given another chance points to a lack of leadership material within the party. Akufo Addo has no stellar performance records in the ministerial portfolios he has held so far. As Attornry General, Witness his inability to be of legal stature in the Tsatsu Tskikata case. If Kuffuor had not been smart in padding the supreme court with more appointees, the government would have lost the case. One of his prime legal moves was to have other jurisdictions holding Ghanaian drug barons repatriated to Ghana. As Foreign Minister, he showed a lot ineptitude in the Gambian xenophobic acts against Ghanaian nationals . He has been implicated in the drill ship sale shenanigans and is known to have a personal problem with drugs.
