The praises that are being heralded into our ears day after day by followers of Akuffo Addo have never been earned by him. He has no track record of any astute political achievement that we are made to believe.
In his time in government as attorney general which I doubt he qualified to hold that post, was messed up with a lot of incompetence, corrupt practices,drugs,manipulations,errors and acrimony.
He has no record to boast of, academically he was a flop. He had a third class in his final paper in economics. He claims he is a lawyer but can't show his degree certificate and he still wants us to believe that he is a lawyer. He can't even pinpoint when he completed his degree.
He is just 'bulldozing' his way into Ghanaians psyche as a the coming 'messiah' without any convincing prophesy. This is a color coating character the NPP die hard followers are spewing into our ears to accept as good. We know more than what they are telling us and it is absolutely negative. We won't buy it. We know Akuffo Addo's problems for which reason he want to be president of Ghana by all means.
He has a big problem of financial insolvency. He owes a lot of money to people, groups, institutions and even some companies in other countries. He has also liquidated all his inheritance for politics. And knowing the consequence posterity has in store for him, his only option is the do and die stand for the presidency of Ghana. It is not that he has any kind of magic wan that can turn the fortune of Ghana around for the better.
Ghana needs dynamic leaders and indeed a humble head of state who can build Ghana with ideas, simple ideas but far reaching, based on common sense and laws. That leader is not the kind of Akuffo Addo. He doesn't know anything. He is being decorated to look like that leader Ghana needs but he is not the one.
Unfortunately for him he is facing a strong opposing party, the NDC. This party has a broad base and needless to say he is wasting his time. He would leave the scene without that goal he has set him, unfortunately.
