Now he tells us that after discussions with his wife and daughters as well as receipt of encouraging messages from party supporters, he decided to run again. Ei Nana Akufo Addo. I thought he will retire when the applause is loudest. Yes Mahama may be having some problems now but two and a half years is a very long span of time. I am sure Nana is tom fooled with this free education thing which the President has adopted, but even there if he should do it so well, Nana's claim to it will be moot. I have seen politicians and lawyers who have taken to much deserved rest and taken up the mantle of statesmen. I wish Akufo Addo did the same. God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

Nana Akofo Addo has a solid nurtured desire to lead the country and develop it and I can feel it in him .He is hungry for power to see the nation transform and if I ever think of voting for him that is what I will vote him for. If Nana is voted into power and choose a good team he will surely do better than John Mahama because of the ego Nana has in him(Solid desire to see his dream of transforming the nation comes to fruition)

He told teeming supporters and Journalists at his Nima residence in Accra on Thursday that he will give it a third try.
The Former Attorney General said after discussions with his wife and daughters as well as receipt of encouraging messages from party supporters, he decided to run again.
“In spite of the disappointments of the last few years, I cannot ignore these calls,” Nana Akufo-Addo told Supporters.
He said he chose two careers where there’s no retirement age – law and politics, adding that he was fit in all aspects to remain in the hurly burly of frontline politics.
“With great humility therefore, I can announce that when the party opens nominations sometime this year, I shall be ready, God willing to contest for the position of NPP flagbearer”.

Rather you have indicated to us that you consulted your wife and kids and encouragement from well wishers. At this age (and i do not say this to spite you), anyone who wants you to stand once again does not want your interest at heart. Your wife will be the first lady if you win so she will urge you to stand. Your children will have all the previledges and perks that comes from being the children of the president so they will urge you on. And the well wishers you claim, are not really well wishers, they want what they can get from your potential presidency. Good luck with that.
