An absolute shame how this girl has been treated.Her 'crime' was success. If you are actually a good athlete in any sport you become a threat to the President of the Federation! Unless you do as they say and kow tow and kiss their backside they will ban you, banish you, try to break you psychologically, make problems until you can't continue.But the difference here is that she WON A GOLD MEDAL AT THE YOUTH OLYMPICS FOR GHANA. So the Minister should step in and really hold the president of the Athleteics federation and the GOC (think they are the one and the same) to explain how he could possibly make such a mess of managing a talent?? He is responsible and no one else. They need to really apologise to her. They stopped her from going to Olympics on some rubbish nonesense. That's her life chance how can you be allowed to get away with playing with someone's life like that for your own ego? It's disgusting.

The reports are saying her education documents don't qualify her to compete. If she does not qualify because of educational issues then stop blaming other people. Instead of trying to find way to blame the president of the federation the man and his people should let us know if it is true. he was the one who sent the girl. he cannot now say other people are causing problems if the help he was trying to give is not working out as planned.

I am familiar with the US system because many of us went through it. You are trying to blame Francis Dodoo for something he could not possibly have had a hand in.
Based on what has been reported and my own inquiries, it seems Martha does not qualify academically to compete for Norfolk State University. If this is the case, it simply means the document she (or you) submitted indicate her level or grade or scores (something) is not high enough.
So trying to turn this thing into reports about fake documents is a distraction from the discussion. I am also struck by the fact that you focus on her still having a scholarship but purposefully did not address the question of whether she can compete because of academics.
If anything, i would say you are the one subjecting this girl to incredible psychological stress. Stop using her in your fight against GAA. If you are tying to help her, kudos to you. But if in trying to help her you ran into problems, take ownership and stop blaming GAA. It makes you weak. Problems are bound to happen. Sometimes good intentions go wrong so take ownership and figure out how you are going to help her move on if she can't compete.

Non of those Janet Amponsah or majority of their athletes can pass the SAt and they no it. Their visas were all done through back door. I'm happy for them at least their families will be happy their wards have had a break through to travel but this Martha hate should stop. She has moved on and she need to have her peace. NCAA needs to investigate middle Tennessee and will will see what happens. They will be sanctioned so badly then.

It is clear that Martha, is a young girl who absolutely does not know or understand how to sort this out by herself. She needs help. Because of ego the President of the Federation and the GOC (they're the same) messed her about and didn't let her run inthe Olympics. Then this new guy steps in and tries to help but obviouslyhe was doing so because he wants to score points against his adversary. Martha, the athlete is caught up in all this. she needs help and these guys need to get their act together and sort it out. THe Minister should inquire about what is going on with her because she is a Ghanaian athlete and she needs protection from this mess and being used as a pawn
